Ta nói in a line, in a row, in a queue (They’re standing in a row); in a picture, in a photo(graph) (Who is the woman in that picture?); in a newspaper, in a magazine, in a book; in an office, in a department (Amy works in the sales department); in the sky, in the world; in the country (= không ở thành phố: Do you live in a city or in the country?). When I go to the cinema, I like to sit in the front row.

at the top / bottom / end (of …)
Ta nói at the top (of …), at the bottom (of …), at the end (of …): Write your name at the top of the page. Jane lives at the other end of the street.

Trong phòng ta nói in the corner: The TV is in the corner of the room. Ở ngã tư phố ta nói at the corner hoặc on the corner: There is a small shop at the corner (of the street) / on the corner (of the street).

- Mẹo: trong xe ô tô nói in the front / in the back; còn toà nhà, rạp, đám đông nói at the front / at the back.
